The Reef Butterfly is an attractive from the Caribbean. It has a light colored body with a yellowish tint over the dorsal half, and dark bars over the eyes and at the rear. Butterflies do best in a fish only tank because of their tendency to pick at sessile invertebrates and corals. In captivity, they should be fed a combination of frozen and flake food fortified with vitamins and some type of vegetative matter added occasionally. This species has occassionally been kept with some coral species, but it is generally not recommended.
