The Honeycomb Moray Eel generally has a white body coloration covered with brown spots of varying sizes covering the entire body. In some species there may even be some yellow mixed in with the white between the spots. These eels will reach lengths of 6 feet or more and will need a large tank to stay happy and well. Tank mates may be hard to choose as this eel will eat any fish that it can swallow even if they have grown up with the fish. Generally, moray eels can be fed frozen fish, squid, clams, silversides, and more but will enjoy live prey if available. Eels are also known to jump out of aquariums when they are spooked or aggrivated and care should be taken to make sure they cannot get out.
