Scroll Corals are the same genus as pagoda corals, however they typically have a much different morphology. Scrolls will have a very delicate skeletal structure and many small polyps, where pagodas will have a more substantial skeleton with fewer, larger, polyps. Scrolls get their name because they often roll onto themselves like a newspaper. Scroll corals are most commonly yellow, but can also be brown or red. These corals require high light and medium water movement. place high in the tank in a verticle position. This particular scroll is bowl shaped and is approximately 10 inches across.
